The piece I can show you today truly breathes the concept of the entire collection — namely having only a few essential items that you can wear in a gazillion ways. Let me introduce you to the kimono shirt dress!
THE DRESS
It’s long, it’s soft and it’s super sophisticated. A structured shirt dress is a must-have in every closet, because it can function for so many occasions: work work work, a shopping afternoon or even a Sunday morning at home (add cozy socks!). Here I styled this little stunner for a feminine date night look, featuring velvet platform heels and glitter socks — again. I added a few dainty accessories and wore my biggest smile: all ready for a romantic night out!
THE JACKET
But this isn’t just a regular dress. We of course call this piece a kimono dress because, apart from wearing it as a closed shirt dress, you can easily feature it as a loose jacket, with the option of closing it with a cute ribbon. I combined it with the matching shirt and a pair of boyfriend jeans, but go ahead and mix prints with the striped knit! I reckon that the light blue blouse would look stunning underneath the kimono dress as well.
